Our female wrestlers train for the World Championship with Turkish colleagues

The World Junior Wrestling Championship will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 13-18 August, 2013 and the World wrestling Championship among seniors will be held in Budapest, capital of Hungary, on 16-22 September. The national wrestling teams of Azerbaijan continue preparing for the championship.

Our junior and senior female wrestling teams are preparing for the World Championship at the Olympic Sports Complex in Astara jointly with the Turkish female wrestlers.

Our national teams include Shafag Muradzadeh (44 kg), Kamala Aliyeva (48 kg), Patimat Bagomedova, Angela Dorogan (both 51 kg), Almaz Ismayilova, Yarina Dubovska (both 55 kg), Alyona Kolesnik, Yuliya Ratkevich (both 59 kg), Anna Belyayeva, Irina Netreba, Ragnetta Gurbanzadeh, Elmira Hasanova (all 63 kg), Gozal Zutova and Sabira Aliyeva (both 72 kg). The training process is headed by the Head Coach of the national team Yagub Mammadov, Senior Coaches Konstantin Konorev, Arif Farmanov and Coaches Aslan Aghayev and Hasrat Mammadyarov.

The Turkish national team includes 12 wrestlers and they have traveled to our country headed by Coaches Shemseddin Yildiz, Zeynep Yildirim Diri and Habil Kara.

The joint training camp will continue until 8 August.
