The World Wrestling Championship continues in Budapest, capital of Hungary. Female wrestlers in 67 and 72 kg categories and Greco-Roman wrestlers in 55 kg category joined the competition on the fifth day of the tournament. The Azerbaijani wrestlers competed in two categories.
In 67 kg category Gozal Zutova scored a victory in her first bout, however she then lost to the Canadian wrestler. As her rival reached the final, Gozal received second life to compete for the bronze medal, but she could not take advantage of this opportunity.

Our representative in 55 kg, Orkhan Ahmadov, scored brilliant victories against his two rivals from Turkey and India. However in the 1/4 final the victory was given to the Russian wrestler due to a biased decision of the referee. The head of the national team has already sent a protest to the FILA Board of Judges.
