The World Wrestling Championship continues in Budapest, capital of Hungary. The female wrestlers in 55, 59 and 63 kg categories competed on the fourth day of the championship. Azerbaijan was represented in two categories.
Our representative in 59 kg category, Julia Ratkevich, finished all her bouts until the semifinal ahead of time, having scored victories by fall in all matches. She then lost to the Bulgarian representative and fought for the bronze medal. This time she won against her Ukrainian rival and Julia Ratkevich became the bronze medalist of the World Championship.

In 63 kg category Irina Netreba scored a victory in her first bout, however could not continue to do so. Our wrestler lost her second match and had to complete the tournament without a medal, as her rival also did not make it to the final.
