Annual conference of the European Council of United World Wrestling was held / PHOTO-VIDEO

Today on the eve of the European championships to be held on 8-13 March of 2016 1st conference of the European Council of the United World Wrestling was organized.

On the conference our country was represented by the Secretary-General of Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Rashad Ali-Zade, vice-president Magomed Aliomarov and chief adviser of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic Yashar Rzayev.

The president of the European Council of the United World Wrestling Tseno Tsenov in his opening address having welcomed attendants of the conference touched important role of the European continent comprising United World Wrestling and made his gratitude to host country for the organization of the championships.

Later on the president of Latvian Wrestling Federation Dzintars Urbanchiks taking a speech thanked United World Wrestling for charging this prestigious competition to Latvia and assured that organization works would be held on a high level.

Then by mean of video connection the president of World Wrestling Federation Nenad Lalovich having welcomed attendants of the conference wished them success in their activity.

According to the agenda of the conference the protocol being adopted on the conference during the 1st European Games in Baku, results of accomplishing works in 2015 according to the development program of the wrestling in Europe as well as budget report which was presented and approved.

Hereinafter was discussed execution of the development program of the wrestling of the European Council of UWW on 2013-2016 years, was approved budget on 2016 year as well as was discussed fixture plan on 2016-2017 years.
