Greco-Roman wrestlers to participate in the Cadet European Championship / TEAM

The Cadet European Wrestling Championship has started in Samokov, Bulgaria.

According to the program, the cadet Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete on 10-11 May.

Our Greco-Roman wrestling team, who will represent our country at the championship, will leave for Bulgaria on 8 May headed by Senior Coach Nuraddin Rajabov and Coach Vugar Aslanov. The team includes Nofel Babayev (42 kg), Parvin Abdullayev (46 kg), Jabbar Najafov (50 kg), Orkhan Aghamaliyev (54 kg), Israfil Yagubzadeh (58 kg), Arif Niftullayev (63 kg), Islambek Dadov (69 kg), Nijat Abdullayev (76 kg), Soslan Fanziyev (85 kg) and Javid Feyziyev (100 kg).

This championship will issue licenses for the 2nd Cadet Olympic Games to be held in Nanjing, China, on 25-27 August. The licenses will be given to girls in 46, 52, 60 and 70 kg classes, to freestylers in 46, 54, 63, 76 and 100 kg weight categories and to Greco-Roman wrestlers in 42, 50, 58, 69 and 85 kg weight classes. We would like to remind our readers that each country can be represented by maximum 5 wrestlers (2 freestyle, 2 Greco-Roman and 1 female) at the Olympics.
